R&D Summer Intern- Inkjet Application Development

The R&D Summer Intern will perform laboratory experiments to develop ink formulations and analyze their properties, providing support for key projects within the Inkjet Applications Development Group.

Responsibilities
Assists in the planning and execution of high-throughput R&D trials and experiments to develop application knowledge of Inkjet materials in inks
Assists in the characterization of the properties of materials through various analytical techniques
Analysis of experimental design results and report results in an organized format
Clearly enters/reports back data and offers interpretation of results
Drives/troubleshoots viscosity/ rheology measurement equipment (TriPAV and Rheosense) to successfully execute experiments
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in undergraduate and/or graduate program
University level laboratory experience
Familiarity with design of experiments
Experience writing formal laboratory reports
Have strong willingness to learn new things
Strong focus on safety, basic chemical safety training experience preferred
Materials Engineering, plastics, or chemical coursework
General mechanical aptitude
Prefer a minimum 12-week commitment
Preferred
Some prior experience in viscosity measurement
