Human Resources Administrator

TechLine Consulting is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to provide hands-on HR support across assigned field locations. This role involves partnering with Corporate HR and local operations to manage employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR administration.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary HR point of contact for field employees and local leadership
Support onboarding and orientation for new hires, employees, and contractors
Assist with employee relations matters, policy interpretation, and HR guidance
Coordinate recruitment efforts with Corporate HR for exempt, non-exempt, and contract roles
Manage recruiting activities including job postings, applicant tracking, prescreening, interview scheduling, offer documentation, background checks, and drug testing for safety-sensitive positions
Represent the organization at local job fairs and hiring events
Support corporate training initiatives and ensure completion of required training programs
Manage relationships with outsourced vendors and contractors in alignment with company policies
Maintain employee files, new hire documentation, and termination processing within the HRIS
Generate HR reports and maintain accurate local HR records
Assist with timekeeping, payroll coordination, and employee inquiries
Support benefits administration initiatives and employee communications
Coordinate IT access and equipment provisioning to ensure new hire readiness
Facilitate new hire orientation sessions for employees and contractors
Assist employees with FMLA, short-term disability, and long-term disability processes
Support departments with job description development and job posting coordination
Oversee expense report submissions and assist with travel coordination as needed
Perform general administrative duties, including mail distribution
Complete additional assignments as required to support business operations

Required

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in human resources, recruiting, onboarding, or related HR functions
Strong working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Effective problem-solving skills with sound judgment
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
Ability to travel as required

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred, but not required
Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or operational environments preferred
Prior experience with HRIS systems preferred
