Responsibilities
Provides clerical support and performs office duties for the Area Manager and Regional Manager
Performs calendar management, meeting scheduling, and front desk duties, including answering phones, checking email, submitting travel claims, assisting with timesheets, preparing documents, and tracking projects
Responsible for adhering to civil service laws, as well as departmental and division rules, policies, and procedures
Demonstrates professionalism, works cooperatively with DOSH/DIR management and employees, stakeholders, and the public, and maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
Performs the following duties with a high degree of accuracy
Qualification
Required
Ability to type at a minimum speed of not less than 40 words per minute from ordinary manuscript or printed or typewritten material
Obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired
Completed applications and all required documents must be received or postmarked by the Final Filing Date in order to be considered
Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list or LEAP eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility (please attach your letter, if available)
Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov
All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position
