Responsibilities
Participates in indirect loan collection efforts
Responsible for directly contacting collection account customers by phone and in writing to facilitate the payment of past due loans
Develops & implements workout strategies with the assistance of the Senior Loan Collector and/or Collections Officer, prepare repossession notices, and repossess vehicles held as collateral
Assists in assigning vehicle repossessions (voluntary & involuntary) to an asset recovery agent and coordinates the delivery of the vehicle to a safe location
Assists in the disposition of repossessed vehicles and in the submission and follow up on vehicle VSI damage, GAP insurance, warranty, and repossession fee claims
Updates bank records regarding collection actions
Assists in the processing of Collection-related approvals and in the collection of outstanding deficiency balances
Prepares related collection and repossessed collateral reports
Performs related and unrelated responsibilities as may be required
