Procom is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a 3-month role with a Financial Services client. The Senior Data Analyst will support a large AML rule migration by analyzing and reconciling outputs between a legacy platform and SAS Viya, focusing on business reporting and analytical judgment.

Responsibilities

Executing and validating AML rules in SAS Viya
Comparing outputs against legacy systems
Investigating discrepancies down to record-level detail
Determining whether differences can be resolved or must be documented
Producing clear documentation explaining variances and logic changes
Communicating findings to stakeholders in clear, business-friendly language

Qualification

Data AnalyticsSQLSASAML domain experienceFinancial services backgroundPayments data experienceAnalytical judgmentCommunication skills

Required

5–7 years of experience in Data Analytics or Business Reporting
Strong SQL (joins, aggregations, CTEs)
SAS experience (Base, DATA step, PROC SQL) or strong SQL with ability to adapt to SAS
Proven experience interpreting results and explaining 'why' differences exist

Preferred

AML domain experience
Financial services background
Payments data experience (preferred): Wires, SWIFT, Payments data more broadly
Prior experience with system or rule migrations
Familiarity with SAS Viya
