Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific EHS policies, procedures, and training programs in accordance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local regulations
Conduct hazard assessments, risk analyses, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for new and existing processes
Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and drive corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Monitor industrial hygiene (air, noise, fumes, ergonomic risks) and recommend engineering or administrative controls
Manage safety documentation, audits, and reporting to corporate and regulatory agencies
Support PFMEA EHS risk evaluation and control measures
Drive continuous improvement through metrics TRIR, near-miss trends, leading indicators
Coordinate emergency response planning, fire safety, and hazardous material management (SDS, labeling, storage)
Champion a culture of accountability with respect to safety

Required

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
3–7 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech environments
Working knowledge of OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, EPA waste management, and ISO 45001 / 14001 standards
Experience conducting risk assessments (FMEA, HAZOP, Job Hazard Analysis)
Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization

Preferred

CSP, CIH, or CHMM certification
