Application Developer II

Self-Help Credit Union is focused on economic justice and creating opportunities for underserved communities. They are seeking an Application Developer II to collaborate with teams to design and implement custom applications, manage project lifecycles, and provide quality assurance and testing for software systems.

Banking

Responsibilities

Manage project lifecycle, deployment, and release for product launches
Design and implement applications for assigned business workflows
Architect new and redesign/modernize existing applications
Build and implement data pipelines and manage databases to support business applications
Assignments might include support for some of the more complex and/or challenging processes
Will provide mentoring for less experienced applications staff members as well as participate in staff member development
Perform other duties as may be deemed necessary

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer-related field such as computer science or software engineering, or equivalent related experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in developing and maintaining production business applications

C# and/or VB.NET
T-SQL/MSSQL and/or MySQL
Git
Dapper

Preferred

Python
Blazor web development framework
CentOS
GitLab DevOps CI/CD, deployments and shell scripting

Exposure to applicable financial/lending applications and/or software is preferred
