Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day production activities
Conduct/attend daily huddle meetings
Follow and enforce company safety polices and safe work practices at all times to ensure safety of self and others
Oversee subordinates to ensure shift goals and quality expectations are consistently achieved
Coordinate personnel schedules to ensure operational effectiveness
Ensure audit and material traceability procedures are being followed throughout the facility
Ensure that employee timecards are being reviewed and corrected daily
Work in a productive, safe, team-oriented manner with employees, and management
Review and develop recommendations to facility management to promote continual improvement of all processes
Maintain a clean and safe work area, maintain and wear all required personal protective safety equipment
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing
2+ years of manufacturing experience preferably in motor vehicle body manufacturing or metal fabrication
Must be able to read and interpret internal documentation and drawings
Keen attention to detail is required
Basic computer skills are required
Excellent people/communication skills to deal with a variety of personalities
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass post-offer background check, physical and drug screening
