Trainer (Marketing, Recruiting & Training Program)
The Children's Village is dedicated to providing support and training for foster parents, and they are seeking a Foster Parent Trainer to facilitate mandated training for new foster parents. This role involves onboarding, conducting orientations, and instructing various training programs while representing the agency at community functions.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the onboarding and facilitation of all OCFS mandated training of new foster parents for the Westchester Foster Care Recruitment program
Provide orientation and training to prospective foster and adoptive resource parents for special arrangement in emergency situations and respite care for male and female children and youth between the ages of 0-18 years old
Responsible for the instruction of all kinship/foster care trainings and able to conduct Foster Parent Orientation and other trainings as needed
Meet training milestones set forth by agency and Westchester Department of Social Services
Represents the agency at community functions and communicates CV values and expectations to prospective foster families
Conduct trainings in English
Qualification
Required
BA/BS with one year experience in child welfare preferred
AA or equivalent credits with two years experience in child welfare will also be considered
Training experience a must
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, writing and computer skills
Must have a valid license and access to a working vehicle
Fluent in English
Preferred
Some familiarity with recruitment
MAPP, Mini-MAPP, GPS II/NTDC Deciding together and/or TRIPP certification preferred
