Responsibilities
Lead at-scale, cross-functional merchandising initiatives and optimize category performance, partnering with Digital Category Managers to co-owning categories or sub-categories
Translate category strategies into actionable merchandising roadmaps
Identify and prioritize digital opportunities through analytics
Use analytics tools (e.g. Foundry, BigQuery, etc.) to develop dashboards and insights
Mentor junior specialists and guide onboarding and training
Act as a subject matter expert for eCommerce topics, leading conversations and initiatives to increase our organization’s digital and merchandising acuity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Biology, Chemistry or other Business or Life Science field
5+ years of a combination of experience in digital merchandising, category management, product marketing, science and/or sales role
Preferred
Master's Degree in Marketing, Life Science (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, etc.), or related field
Experience leading category or cross-functional initiatives, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills, with proven success in stakeholder collaboration and influence
Life Science, Chemicals, or Healthcare industry knowledge
Understanding of and experience with relevant systems/databases (PIM, ERP, Palantir Foundry, BigQuery, etc.) and demonstrated ability to work with and analyze large datasets
Knowledge of AI-assisted merchandising tools
Strong business acumen and ability to connect merchandising to commercial outcomes
Story building and storytelling skills, and ability to interact with senior management in matrix organization
