Senior Level, Lead/StaffAtlas Molded Products is seeking a Senior Molding Lead – 2nd Shift for the Byron Center plant. The role involves leading production personnel, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and operating equipment in the Lamination Department.

Responsibilities
General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures
Direct production personnel to ensure orders are produced in a timely fashion and adhere to safety and quality standards in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
Must be able to work independently and lead employees within a small group to ensure production schedule and quality standards are met and report issues to supervisor
Operate and set up equipment in the Lamination Department
Perform various data collection functions in PeopleSoft (ERP)
Maximize yield and reduce scrap
Report department metrics
Verify order information and produce part(s) with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within quality tolerance to meet customer specifications while meeting productivity standards
Qualification
Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment
Prior supervisory/lead experience
