Responsibilities
Develop and design new IT solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability of the MDSEA Platform
Responsible for project initiation, requirements management, task management and development of artifacts for the Technical Baseline
Responsible for documenting designs and developing implementation and test plans to be installed by sustainment personnel
Collaborate with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure integration and compliance
Work with Project Managers to produce artifacts to support preliminary, detailed, and critical design reviews with stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and twelve (12) years of general experience, Associate's degree, or higher, and ten (10) years of general experience, Bachelor's degree and 8 years of general experience, Master's degree and six (6) years of general experience
Must have 5, or more, years of system engineering experience
Must have 1, or more, years of experience working in a management or leadership role
Must have documented experience developing and editing Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) products for IT systems
Must have experience in designing systems for IT infrastructure elements to include Identify Management, Virtualization, Storage, Network, & Compute resources
Must have experience in the decomposition of complex IT systems into manageable components
Must have experience in developing detailed implementation plans for new solutions and systems
Must have experience with Requirements Management and understanding of the System Engineering V Model
Must have a history of displaying troubleshooting and critical thinking skills related to IT system dependencies, impacts, and sustainability
Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation
Must be able to obtain the required clearance level
Must be able to travel, including air travel
Must have a valid Driver's License
Preferred
Have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
Have a Bachelor's degree in any IT or STEM related field
