Supplier Quality Engineer
STS Aviation Group is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support advanced manufacturing and supplier quality initiatives. This role focuses on executing Advanced Product Quality Planning processes and ensuring supplier compliance with quality standards across a global supply base.

Responsibilities
Execute the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process for assigned suppliers
Review program progress against milestones and identify and mitigate risks
Ensure supplier compliance with APQP deliverables including PPAP, Control Plans, FMEA, and Run at Rate verification
Conduct program reviews, track achievements, and escalate issues as appropriate
Ensure the supply base adheres to Company quality and manufacturing standards
Identify and react to out of standard conditions and work cross functionally to resolve issues
Provide technical support and continuous improvement guidance to suppliers during launch and ongoing production
Travel to supplier manufacturing sites to verify robust quality plans and corrective actions
Verify on-site implementation of corrective actions and ensure lessons learned are read across applicable suppliers
Escalate issues across functions and engage senior leadership when required to drive results
Perform other related duties as assigned, including public charging support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with a technical focus such as Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Chemistry, or Physics
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality or Engineering within automotive production or EV charger related products
Experience with circuit board manufacturing or other electrical components
Proficient in print reading, part measurement, and gage design and function
Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes, tooling, equipment, and facilities
Knowledge of probability, statistical quality control, and design of experiments
Ability to investigate quality problems and apply sound technical judgment to develop solutions
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to collaborate across all organizational levels
Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and professional judgment
Ability to work effectively from remote locations including supplier sites, Company facilities, and home offices
Ability to travel up to 40–50 percent to supplier manufacturing sites
Applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship requirements
