Responsibilities
Build pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs across iOS and Android
Architect and develop reusable, scalable UI components
Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability
Leverage native APIs for deep platform integrations
Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
Write clean, well-documented code and maintain automated test coverage
Partner with product and design to deliver innovative mobile experiences
Engage with the open-source community to help improve mission-critical tooling (React Native moves fast!)
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience with React and/or React Native
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (ES6+)
Experience building testable, maintainable codebases and APIs
Solid understanding of third-party dependencies and conflict resolution
Familiarity with native build tools (Xcode, CocoaPods)
Experience with automated testing (Jest, Appium, Playwright)
Knowledge of mobile performance, memory management, and multithreading
Preferred
Experience with Shopify APIs, GraphQL, Firebase
Exposure to Swift and/or Kotlin
App Store and Google Play publishing experience
CI/CD pipelines, Sauce Labs, or mobile automation infrastructure
