As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing geothermal systems, supporting installation teams, and providing valuable feedback to improve product performance.

Responsibilities
Perform Field Service: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair installed geothermal systems, including refrigeration systems, pumps/circulators, electrical (high and low voltage), and plumbing (HDPE, PEX, copper)
Support Installations: Provide field and phone-based support to installation crews to troubleshoot issues and ensure top-quality installations
Collaborate Across Teams: Offer on-the-ground feedback to Dandelion’s engineering and product teams to help improve our software, hardware, and installation processes
Flexibility: Work primarily during normal business hours, with availability for on-call service during evenings or weekends when required
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on residential HVAC experience (service technician preferred)
EPA Universal Certification
Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
Valid driver's license in good standing and insurable driving record
Ability to work in varied outdoor environments and lift up to 50 lbs safely
Preferred
Associate's degree in HVAC or refrigeration, or equivalent trade certification
Experience with geothermal systems or ground heat exchangers
Prior experience in a field service or startup environment
Familiarity with HVAC control systems or diagnostic software
