Responsibilities

Requests, tracks, and maintains purchase orders & purchase order changes, as needed
Inspects, documents, tracks, and registers project material arrivals with confirmation from the Project Team
Supports payment status troubleshooting and vendor communication
Requests, tracks, maintains and consolidates required vendor and supplier documentation, as needed
Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected
Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures
Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude
Works with site team to reconcile material/inventory discrepancies, under the direction of the Project Manager
Ensures that safety is the most important function, follows safe practices while working
Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors
Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly
Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) occurs before scopes of work commence
Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures
Receives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing
Follows technical, quality and safety systems in place and determines appropriate action
Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly

Qualification

Required

Highschool Diploma or GED, required
Ability to travel 5-15% domestically, required
Experience with business accounting and accounting systems required
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage tight deadlines and handle multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure high quality, positive interfaces with Project Controls team members and project teams

Preferred

Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business -related field, preferred
Valid Driver's License, preferred
2+ years of accounting, accounts payable/receivable and construction experience, preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel including the use of pivot tables, and Word (including document formatting), as well as Outlook and PowerPoint
