ANALYST II

They are seeking an Analyst II to identify training needs for Child Care Program staff and to design and facilitate training sessions that align with state and federal standards.

Responsibilities
Identifying statewide training needs for the Child Care Program staff
Conducting assessment surveys and research related to training
Providing technical support to licensing staff to promote continuous quality improvement
Collaborating and providing ongoing training to child care licensing staff and external partners
Designing training modules and developing learning materials that consider equity and diversity
Facilitating training using principles of adult learning theory
Planning and scheduling training sessions and coordinating logistics
Conducting regular data system reviews and performance data analysis to determine training focus
Qualification
Required
Valid California Driver's License
Experience as a Trainer and/or Licensing Program Analyst
Ability to travel statewide
Ability to transport and use a laptop and other equipment in the field
Strong presentation skills
Experience with coordinating and/or facilitating training
Experience presenting or training small and large groups
Experience with virtual platforms and software used in a training capacity
Completion of employment history on the application form (STD 678)
Submission of a Statement of Qualifications or Supplemental Questionnaire along with the application
