Information Assurance Analyst
Nationwide is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst to support the Tactical Communications & Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Program Management Office in executing cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework activities. The role involves reviewing cybersecurity artifacts, supporting Assessment and Authorization processes, and ensuring compliance with DoD policies.

Responsibilities
Support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process as defined in DoDI 8510.01 RMF for DoD IT
Review and analyze cybersecurity artifacts including System Security Categorization, Security Controls, and Continuous Monitoring plans
Support Cybersecurity Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) activities including Cooperative Vulnerability Identification (CVI) and Adversarial Cybersecurity DT&E (ACD)
Analyze Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans, DISA STIGs, and Source Code Review results
Prioritize remediation activities and support mitigation planning
Monitor and respond to Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and Operational Directions
Coordinate with PM TCE Cybersecurity leads and external agencies to ensure compliance and readiness
Support the development and delivery of Cyber-Incident Reports and Technical Reports
Maintain documentation and reporting in accordance with PM TCE policies and CDRL requirements
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or related field
3+ years of experience in DoD cybersecurity and RMF implementation
Familiarity with DoDI 8510.01, DoDI 5000.02, and DISA STIGs
Experience with ACAS, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity testing
Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and meet MCEN access requirements
Strong understanding of RMF lifecycle and cybersecurity compliance requirements
Proficiency in analyzing vulnerability scans and implementing remediation strategies
Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and technologies including ACAS, STIGs, and source code analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a secure environment
Experience preparing cybersecurity documentation and reports for government review
