Responsibilities
Tracking and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely completion of deliverables and adherence to milestones outlined in DoD contracts
Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating procurement activities to ensure sustained workflow operations without disruptions
Preparing detailed production reports, documenting resource allocation, material usage, and scheduling challenges for management review
Coordinating with engineering, logistics, and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues affecting production timelines
Implementing production control best practices and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with industry and contractual standards
Qualification
Required
Three or more years of experience in a production control clerk role
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline
Demonstrated ability to track and manage production schedules, timelines, and material availability, ensuring alignment with project needs and DoD requirements
Skilled in utilizing logistical tracking systems and advanced software tools to monitor inventory levels, coordinate procurement, and streamline workflow operations
Proficient in preparing and maintaining detailed records of production activities, including material usage, workflow issues, and resource allocation
Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance
U.S. citizenship
Eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level
Preferred
Familiarity with automated production control systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools such as SAP or Oracle
Strong analytical skills to evaluate production timelines and identify optimization strategies for enhanced operational efficiency
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to resolve production bottlenecks and implement best practices
Knowledge of DoD compliance standards and experience, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements
