Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies specifically for cloud services and solutions aligned with organizational goals
Identify, evaluate, and select cloud service providers based on quality, cost, delivery, and risk criteria
Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements to ensure favorable terms and compliance
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand cloud requirements and forecast demand
Partner with Global Procurement Services and Strategic Sourcing Managers to leverage preferred suppliers and streamline procurement processes
Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure service levels and continuous improvement
Ensure adherence to procurement policies, including technology engagement requests and contract approvals
Support cloud purchase processes, including engagement with relevant review boards for high-value contracts
Stay informed on market trends, emerging cloud technologies, and best practices in cloud sourcing
Qualification
Required
7+ years validated experience with technology related sourcing/procurement in the areas of Software, SaaS, Cloud, Data Center, Telecom, or other related categories
Understanding of Technology market trends within the Software and Cloud arena. Generative AI tools experience
Understanding of the End-to-End Procurement process and sourcing fundamentals
Familiarity with software license agreements/contracts and contract compliance
Ability to demonstrate core foundational skills in the following areas: Cost accounting, data management, presentation, and effective communications
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Law
Project management/multi-discipline experience preferred
Experience with procurement-related tools (e.g., Ariba)
