Responsibilities
Analyze, design, implement, test printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) for electronic industrial HVAC controls
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (UL, IEC, EMC, ESD, EFT)
Integrate software & hardware - test & verify system functionality
Help advance hardware development tools, technology, and processes
Estimate tasks, generate schedules, and deliver on commitments
Follow established Trane product development procedures and guidelines
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled and pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or a related major
Knowledge in control systems using embedded microprocessors
Knowledge in development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
Circuit analysis and printed circuit board design
Familiarity with embedded operating systems (Linux OS) and networking
Technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Ability to function in a location diverse team environment
