InternContinental Finance Company is a growing financial technology company specializing in credit card options for consumers with less than perfect credit. They are seeking a financial modeling intern to support their accounting team, where the intern will gain real-life exposure and assist with various projects while completing a final project during the summer internship.

Responsibilities
Build financial models using historical data and providing forecasts based on various industry-related operating metrics
Identify the key financial and non-financial risks, recommending actions for mitigation of those risks
Communicate data driven insights through analysis, reporting and data visualization
Responsible for identifying data gaps, emerging data sources, and improving national accounting standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in and working towards an undergraduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar degree and in good academic standing
Available to work 40 hours/week (hybrid) for a roughly 10-week summer assignment from June 2, 2026 – August 6, 2026
Proficiency with VBA within Microsoft Excel writing code and arrays required
Experience in financial planning and analysis required
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, and advanced Excel)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Team player and can collaborate with other teams in the organization
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management
Preferred
Current experience in the utilization of AI tools (Chat GPT) is a plus but not required
Prior financial modeling experience preferred
Prior experience in evaluating acquisition opportunities is a plus
Basic understanding of SQL and Snowflake is a plus
