Regional Food Bank is seeking an Inventory Financial Specialist responsible for managing and analyzing inventory financial data. The role involves ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory management, collaborating with various teams, and adhering to internal controls and audit procedures.

Responsibilities

Review product numbers and vendor/donor records ensuring accuracy

Assist in researching inventory discrepancies

Assist in researching Agency order/payment discrepancies

Review inventory receipts ensuring accuracy

Monitor flow of inventory within the Food Bank ensuring accurate tracking and processing of goods

Assist in review and implementation of inventory and receiving processes

Reconcile monthly inventory

Assist with physical inventory/cycle count review

Support month-end closing activities

Utilize inventory management software and financial systems to track and report inventory data

Collaborate closely with operations, purchasing, and finance teams

Adheres to internal reporting procedures to safeguard organizational assets and ensures accurate financial reporting

Assists with all financial and inventory audits

Works independently and collaboratively with other departments and employees in support of the mission of the Food Bank

Ensures a safe, secure, and legal environment

Maintains a clean and safe workspace

Follows all safety standards and procedures

Adheres to the Food Bank's Employee Code of Conduct

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Proven experience in inventory management, financial analysis, or a similar role
