Quality Systems Analyst

The Quality Systems Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, work with technical teams on system solutions, and ensure that these solutions meet business needs through testing and user training.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business units, management, and vendors. Analyze, develop, and document detailed business requirements and business processes for proposed technical solutions to strategic corporate initiatives
Act as a champion in identifying, developing, and implementing best practices across multiple channels within the organization
Document functional requirements and continuous improvements to existing processes
Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with numerous stakeholders for what the future-state solution should provide
Perform unit and integration testing for configuration and end to end business processes
Partner with business users throughout the process to ensure solutions meet business requirements
Conduct reviews of business processes; leads and works with less experienced associates in developing functional optimization strategies and ensures incorporation into strategic roadmaps where applicable
Act as liaison between business and IT to support business needs via technical solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
Analyze, track, and remediate root causes of defects, and communicate results to partners
Develop, execute and document results of detailed business/user acceptance test scenarios and test cases
Participate in the design of any integration related to assigned functional modules

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology field
Minimum 3 years of Business Analysis experience
Proficient knowledge in modern office productivity, communication, and collaboration toolsets with a focus on Microsoft tools
Proficient in using various business intelligence tools for creating reports and dashboards

Preferred

Strong knowledge and experience with requirement specifications to define scope and system boundaries, recommend alternative methods to achieve complex system requirements
Experience in a manufacturing environment and understanding of manufacturing processes
Exposure to ERP development and/or system enhancement work
Ability to translate business requirements into process and technical specifications
Ability to analyze problems, assess multiple options and provide clear recommendations
Ability to analyze and translate requirements distinctly
Ability to query and interpret data from various data sources
Solid understanding of multiple project management methodologies including Agile
Project management experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams as a project lead
Ability to conduct solution assessment and validation to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs
Experience assisting with and/or reviewing test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks and participate in testing the solution to ensure the solution meets requirements
Understanding of relational databases
Ability to develop queries to access data used in analysis
Ability to interact with company personnel, build strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations, and understand business imperatives
Business knowledge and process design skills
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills are essential
Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Personal effectiveness/credibility
