Responsibilities

Execute in vitro or ex vivo experiments to validate novel targets using cell lines & primary human cell sources

Perform cell culture (suspension & adherent) & assays including but not limited to: DNA/RNA/protein purification, siRNA/CRISPR knockdowns, Lentiviral transfections, immunoprecipitation, WES, western blot, ELISA, MSD, HTRF, quantitative PCR, protein degradation & colorimetric assays

Collect, analyze, & summarize data for presentations, & reports

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of new technologies & relevant scientific advances in tumor dependencies & its roles in cancer from literature & scientific meetings

Required

Must have a Master's degree in Cellular & Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or related field

2 years of experience as a Scientist

2 years of experience performing mammalian cell culture in a biosafety level 2 environment

2 years of experience performing (a) western blotting, immunoprecipitation, WES, or ELISA, (b) DNA/RNA isolation, RT-PCR, separation techniques for primary cells, & (c) gene expression analysis

2 years of experience handling & processing human tissue samples for biological assays

2 years of experience developing, optimizing, & troubleshooting cell-based assays

1 year of experience manipulating gene expression by CRISPR methods in cancer cell types

1 year of experience utilizing the biological data analysis software tool: GraphPad Prism & at least one of the software tools: Excel, Image Studio, Spotfire, or Compass

1 year of experience documenting experimental procedures & methodologies for regulatory filings
