Vice President, Investments (Private Credit and Equity)

They are seeking a Vice President, Investments to lead end-to-end execution on new investments and acquisition opportunities across private credit and equity, including initial evaluation, due diligence, and deal structuring.

Responsibilities

Lead execution on new investments and acquisition opportunities across private credit and equity opportunities, including initial evaluation, due diligence, and deal structuring
Build and own transaction financial models (3-statement, LBO, credit models), including downside cases, stress testing, and recovery analyses
Evaluate company performance, business models, capital structures, and competitive dynamics to assess risk / return, cash flow durability, and value creation potential
Own high-quality Investment Committee materials, including investment memoranda, diligence findings, model outputs, and recommendation framing
Coordinate diligence workstreams with management teams, sponsors, counsel, accounting advisors, consultants, and third-party diligence providers
Partner with senior investment professionals to structure and negotiate deal terms across both debt and equity
Drive execution from term sheet through closing, including managing legal documentation, internal approvals, and closing deliverables
Maintain underwriting tools, valuation frameworks, and investment tracking materials to ensure rigor and consistency
Support portfolio management from a transaction / credit perspective, including amendments, waivers, restructurings, and follow-on capital solutions as needed
Support ongoing performance monitoring and reviews of portfolio companies
Mentor junior team members and contribute to underwriting best practices and investment process improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
6–10+ years of experience in investment banking (LevFin, Sponsors, M&A, Restructuring, Structured Finance), private credit, private equity, or credit investing
Demonstrated ability to independently execute complex transactions, manage diligence, and coordinate internal/external stakeholders under tight deadlines
Advanced financial modeling skills (ability to build and review robust models from scratch)
Strong grasp of capital structures, debt documentation, credit risk, and downside protection
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with comfort presenting to senior stakeholders / Investment Committee
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple live deals simultaneously
Ownership mindset suited for a lean, entrepreneurial investment platform

MBA/CFA a plus
