Responsibilities
Own the full-cycle recruiting process for technical roles, from sourcing through placement
Proactively source, screen, and engage qualified technical candidates using your own tools and networks
Conduct thorough candidate screenings and present well-qualified, well-prepared candidates
Manage candidate relationships, follow-up, and pipeline activity independently
Coordinate interviews and maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to candidate activity and placements
Operate with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability as an independent partner
Qualification
Required
4+ years of technical recruiting experience
Prior experience working as a 1099 recruiter or independent contractor
Must operate under your own LLC or legal business entity
Proven ability to work independently without day-to-day oversight
Strong sourcing, screening, and candidate assessment skills
Results-driven mindset with a track record of successful placements
Excellent communication, time management, and follow-through
Preferred
Experience recruiting in fast-paced or niche technical markets
Established candidate networks within technical disciplines
Comfort managing multiple searches simultaneously
