Responsibilities
Drafting and preparing litigation pleadings and motion papers, including:
Summonses and Complaints
Notices of Motion, Affirmations, Affidavits, and supporting Exhibits
Default motions and related filings
Assembling, formatting, and finalizing motion papers using standardized templates and firm procedures
Supporting attorneys with ongoing motion practice across multiple MCA matters
Working within defined workflows to ensure all pleadings are accurate, compliant, and timely
Managing a high volume of matters simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Qualification
Required
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
Direct experience drafting pleadings and motion papers
Strong familiarity with civil litigation procedures
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple deadlines
Excellent drafting, formatting, and document production skills
College degree required (Associate's or Bachelor's)
Preferred
MCA or commercial debt collection experience strongly preferred
Prior experience at a commercial debt collection firm or MCA-focused company
Exposure to high-volume litigation operations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
