Mortgage Loan Processor - Medford, OR
Residential Mortgage is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor who plays a critical role in turning loan applications into successful closings. The role involves reviewing loan documents for accuracy, coordinating with borrowers and Loan Originators, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Review incoming loan documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Verify borrower information, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate directly with borrowers and Loan Originators
Order credit reports, appraisals, flood certifications, title work, insurance, and other required documentation
Prepare and submit clean, organized loan files to Underwriting for approval
Update loan systems based on underwriting decisions and loan status changes
Communicate with customers regarding loan status, next steps, and timelines
Track and follow up on outstanding conditions and documentation
Perform thorough document audits prior to funding
Resolve exceptions and conditions to keep loans moving forward
Stay up to date on FHA, VA, and conventional loan guidelines and changes
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and company policies
Support the team with additional duties as needed
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Exceptional attention to detail—you catch what others miss
Strong customer service mindset with clear, confident communication skills
Solid understanding of real estate documentation, compliance, and loan policies
Ability to manage multiple files, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines
High integrity, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence
Comfortable working with change, problem-solving, and fast-paced workflows
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Comfortable navigating loan systems and standard office equipment
Quick to learn new software and process updates
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
Preferred
2+ years of loan processing experience preferred
Mortgage industry experience is a plus (but we're open to strong candidates!)
Military education or experience may substitute for education or work experience
