Responsibilities
Apply engineering principles and advanced technologies to support FAA air traffic control and automation systems
Provide engineering support for TBFM/TDFM and STARS, including system analysis, requirements support, and operational integration
Support system development, testing, implementation, and sustainment activities at WJHTC
Assist with technical documentation, engineering analyses, and system performance assessments
Participate in system reviews, technical meetings, and coordination with FAA stakeholders and contractors
Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of air traffic management systems
Ensure engineering activities align with FAA standards, policies, and safety requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (civil, electrical, electronic, chemical, industrial, mechanical, aeronautical, avionics, environmental, or computer engineering)
Degree must be from an ABET-accredited college or university
Hands-on or direct support experience with TBFM/TDFM and STARS
Experience supporting FAA, DoD, or other federal aviation or air traffic systems programs
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills
