Project Manager (Bus Prof)

Mindlance is seeking a Project Manager II to support capital facilities and construction projects at nuclear generating facilities. This role involves managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring compliance with nuclear and safety protocols while coordinating various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage full lifecycle (“cradle‐to‐grave”) execution of facilities, construction, and capital improvement projects
Develop and maintain scopes of work, schedules, budgets, long‐term project plans, and funding requests
Lead project controls activities including cost tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, documentation, and reporting
Interface daily with plant stakeholders: engineering, maintenance, operations, supply chain, controls, finance, and leadership
Source, contract, manage, and coordinate suppliers and external contractors
Prepare and deliver project presentations to leadership, including authorization and funding approvals
Conduct field walkdowns and plant observations for risk mitigation, constructability, and issue resolution
Support risk management, quality assurance, safety compliance, and nuclear regulatory expectations

Required

5–7 years of facilities, construction, utility, power plant, or commercial nuclear power project management experience
Demonstrated success managing projects ≥ $1M
Strong financial acumen and experience with project controls and variance analysis
Familiarity with PMI/PMBOK (Waterfall/Predictive) methodologies
Ability to obtain unescorted nuclear access, which includes: Federal background investigation, Fitness‐for‐Duty testing (drug & alcohol), Compliance with NRC Access Authorization requirements
U.S. citizenship (required)

Preferred

Construction or Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Nuclear) from an ABET‐accredited program
Commercial nuclear or utility/power plant experience
Experience with SAP, Oracle Unifier, Workday/UKG, MS Project, or Primavera P6
PMP certification strongly preferred (not required)
