Responsibilities
Responsible for the oversight of the procurement of stock, special supplies, equipment, and services for the surgical services departments
Provide cost analysis on multiple vendors with same and like products for cost savings opportunities and standardization based on SSVAT directives
Position includes oversight of expired item tracking and analysis
Responsible for month end reporting. Facilitates the recall process including responding to the vendor and BISC
Responsible for human tissue process, reporting, analysis, and compliance for regulatory agencies. Assists Department Manager with large scale product conversions as guided by BayCare. Identifies and assists manager with implementation of special projects and/or leads special projects within a multi-disciplinary team
Assists department manager with development of team members
Performs daily rounding of procurement team members. Assumes responsibility of team and department in the absence of the manager
Qualification
Required
High School or Equivalent and 6 years supply chain, materials mgmt. or related field OR Bachelor's degree and 4 years related field
