Responsibilities
Record cash receipts, approved customer credits, and other customer transactions
Update daily cash reports
Match vendor invoices to purchase orders, contracts and receiving documents; enter invoices into ERP system and resolve discrepancies timely
Maintain vendor master files
Process vendor payments via check, ACH and wire transfers
Prepare and process journal entries for various financial transactions
Reconcile certain balance sheet accounts and bank accounts monthly
Completing various monthly spreadsheets and analysis in excel
Completing monthly closing procedures timely to meet deadlines
Qualification
Required
2+ years of accounting experience; Accounting degree preferred; experience can be substituted for degree
Solid understanding of general ledger accounting principles, debits, credits and journal entries as well as general business competencies
Self-starter motivated by continuous learning and personal growth, sound judgment, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
Must be able to communicate effectively and advise management when necessary
Possess strong analytical skills and ability to identify and investigate questionable data
Strong data entry skills
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. Must work well in a team environment. Must be able to maintain confidential information
Advanced Excel skills and experience with MS office products
