Inside Sales Consultant

They are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Consultant to convert roofing bids into active projects by educating homeowners and guiding them in selecting contractors. Responsibilities

Engage homeowners proactively once bids are shared, build trust quickly, and guide them toward RoofMarketplace contractor selection
Influence decisions by educating homeowners on their options and helping them feel confident moving forward
Identify friction points in the homeowner journey and partner with service delivery, marketing, and product to solve them
Test and refine approaches; experiment with talk tracks, email follow-ups, and timing to improve conversion rates
Capture and share insights with leadership to shape future scripts, process flows, and tools
Maintain accurate CRM documentation to ensure visibility across teams and support smooth handoffs
Meet and exceed revenue and conversion targets, with a focus on continuously improving overall fulfillment performance

Required

4+ years of inside sales or customer success experience
Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex information for homeowners, building trust quickly over the phone
Process-Builder Mindset: Able to spot gaps, propose solutions, and help build scalable playbooks
Data-Driven Thinking, comfortable interpreting conversion data and using insights to refine messaging
Skilled at working with service delivery, marketing, UX, and product to align messaging and remove blockers
Proven ability to influence decisions and move opportunities to close without hard selling
Experience with and comfortable working with CRM systems and collaborating cross-functionally
Energized by testing, iterating, and helping define how this role operates at scale
Knowledge of roofing, residential construction, or adjacent industries
