Program Manager - Student Engagement Mentoring

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate individual and group mentoring experiences, programming, and events including Mentor Tech and Tech Leadership Institute
Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise Peer Mentors
Actively engage in campus-wide initiatives and collaborate with students, faculty, staff, and administration to support mentoring efforts and student success
Proactively identify programmatic and operational needs and work with the Program Director to develop innovative solutions and strategies
Assist with program marketing, outreach, and recruitment in collaboration with departmental and campus partners
Develop and deliver presentations to students, parents, faculty, and staff on key topics related to student success and retention
Utilize Texas Tech University and mentoring technology systems, including Raider Success Hub, for program communication, documentation, and reporting
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge, skills, and best practices in student success and retention
Contribute to assessment and evaluation of program outcomes and effectiveness to inform decision-making and program growth and development

Required

Bachelor's degree and four years of experience developing or managing programs or projects
Additional job related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis

Preferred

Knowledge of and/or experience with student development programs within a college or university setting
Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Personnel/Student Affairs, or a related field
Experience supervising student staff
