COORDINATOR SPECIAL PROGRAMS HEALTH SERVICES III, DD ESRO PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
The State of Maryland is seeking a Professional Development Coordinator to support the development and implementation of training curriculum for statewide services. This role involves coordinating services, managing procurement activities, and facilitating regional events for the DDA team.

Responsibilities
Supporting the development and implementation of training curriculum and resources that are provided to statewide people receiving services and their families, stakeholders and DDA staff
Supporting the coordination of interpretation and translation services, reasonable accommodation and visual communication services
Working collaboratively with the team in planning and facilitating regional DDA events
Managing procurement activities necessary to support the DDA Regional Office and associated activities
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
Two years of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources
Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis for the required experience
Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education
Preferred
Communication background or experience in hosting large scale public events
Customer service experience working with others both internally and externally
Experience/knowledge of the Medicaid 1915c HBCS waiver
