Responsibilities
Lead, train, and develop a team of service technicians and advisors
Schedule and coordinate the daily workflow of the service department
Monitor performance and provide regular feedback to team members
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and procedures
Maintain strong relationships with commercial customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and effectively
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless customer experience
Oversee the efficient operation of the commercial service department, ensuring timely completion of all service orders
Implement and monitor processes to improve productivity and reduce costs
Ensure proper maintenance and use of equipment and tools
Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability
Analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Oversee inventory levels and ensure the availability of necessary parts and supplies
Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms
Monitor inventory usage and adjust orders as necessary
Qualification
Required
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of commercial vehicle systems and repair techniques
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial service environment
Proven experience in managing a team and driving operational success
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification
