IT Intern, Cyber Security - Summer 2026

Responsibilities

Analyze, clean, organize, and process data from Splunk query
Migrate data into a user-friendly review interface that supports addition, removal, and modification workflows
Utilize Power BI, Qualys, and Active Directory to verify user access permissions and validate security compliance for quarterly security audits, ensuring the integrity of all relevant data
Develop planning and tracking tools for legacy server migration processes
Coordinate with server owners to complete migration planning for legacy servers

Required

Minimum of one year completed towards a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and data analysis
Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May 27th – July 31st, 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity
Be willing to work at the posted job location
Solid understanding of data analysis and visualization methodologies
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with Power BI or Power Apps
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Familiarity with VBA, SQL, and PowerShell scripting languages
