Design and prototype agentic systems for complex, long-horizon tasks (data pipelines, simulations, scientific workflows)
Explore formal specifications, verification, and evaluation for autonomous agents
Build and benchmark systems involving LLMs, planners, memory, and tool orchestration
Apply agentic methods to accelerated science, simulations, or enterprise-scale data problems
Collaborate closely with senior researchers and engineers; publish-quality work encouraged

Qualification

Required

MS or PhD student in CS, AI/ML, Systems, Applied Math, or a related field
Strong foundations in at least one of: AI/ML, distributed systems, programming languages, formal methods, or scientific computing
Comfortable turning abstract ideas into working systems
Curious, rigorous, and excited about pushing the boundaries of autonomous systems
