Responsibilities

Responsible for recruiting, interviewing and job placement for home care positions
The Recruiter in ExpertCare Management Services plays a vital role because the Recruiter is the link between the Recipient, the caregiver and the county
The Recruiter consistently exercises discretionary judgment in administering the screening and selection process in recruiting, hiring, and assigning caregivers
The Recruiter is also responsible for retaining qualified caregivers, including responsibility for increasing hours by building relationships with the families, counties and their support coordination through calls, meetings, and on-site visits
When Recruiters successfully match caregivers to open cases and support them in remaining active longer, it leads to improved staffing stability, lower recruitment-related workload, and more consistent service delivery for Recipients
It is the Recruiter who takes ownership of the job order, assigns the caregiver, and maintains consistent Recipient and caregiver satisfaction
It is the quality of service that causes a Recipient/client to select one provider over another
Recruiting depends on people, and people bring unique strengths, challenges, and occasional imperfections
A strong Recruiter with solid case management practices, helps navigate those challenges by addressing issues proactively, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring both the quality and availability of caregivers and assignments
This helps create a smoother experience for all involved
Collaborates with the Recruiting Team to participate in the on-call rotation
Other projects and activities as assigned
Ensure and documents health and safety processes for field staff/Recipients, as applicable
Provides supervision of up to 150-200 ExpertCare Management Services caregivers. Including but not limited to case management, Incident Reports, Injury Reports, training compliance, etc

Required

Responsible for recruiting, interviewing and job placement for home care positions
Consistently exercises discretionary judgment in administering the screening and selection process in recruiting, hiring, and assigning caregivers
Responsible for retaining qualified caregivers, including responsibility for increasing hours by building relationships with the families, counties and their support coordination through calls, meetings, and on-site visits
Takes ownership of the job order, assigns the caregiver, and maintains consistent Recipient and caregiver satisfaction
Provides supervision of up to 150-200 ExpertCare Management Services caregivers
Must maintain a valid state driver's license
Ability to sit for extended periods of time and possesses the normal range of body motion
One year certificate from college or technical school; or two years of related business experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrates critical thinking by exhibiting sound and accurate judgement and includes the appropriate people in decision making
Exhibits effective communication and interpersonal skills including the four quadrants of Emotional Intelligence: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management
Partners with cross-functional teams to promote collaboration, enhance communication, and ensure seamless service continuity
Considerable skill in interviewing techniques
A basic understanding of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels
Be able to handle unique situations as they present themselves
Demonstrates planning and organization skills. This would include the ability to plan ahead, consider efficiencies and multi-task
Should have an understanding of general business skills
Should have intermediate computer and smartphone knowledge with willingness and ability to work in multiple platforms
Ability to work within a team, sharing recruiting responsibilities where needed
Must be able to compose routine written correspondence and reports
Displays ability to handle change for evolving business needs
