Responsibilities
Providing responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical staff services, such as program planning, evaluation, systems development, budgeting, monitoring, and providing consultative services to management
Monitoring key Prenatal Screening (PNS) Program activities necessary to ensure the quality and timeliness of prenatal screening services under new and existing PNS Program operations
Supporting the screening programs for neural tube defects (NTDs) and the cell-free DNA (cfDNA) prenatal genetic abnormalities
Working with the Prenatal Logistics team to implement, maintain, and disseminate new program policies and protocols
Providing technical oversight and evaluation of laboratory contractor compliance with PNS Program policies, particularly those related to cfDNA screening services, including planning and documenting contractor meetings, tracking follow-up actions, and coordinating with regional case coordinators to address escalated case management issues
Qualification
Required
Technical analytical staff services experience
Program planning and evaluation skills
Systems development knowledge
Budgeting and monitoring experience
Consultative services to management
Experience with prenatal screening programs
Knowledge of neural tube defects (NTDs) and cell-free DNA (cfDNA) prenatal genetic abnormalities
Ability to implement and maintain program policies and protocols
Technical oversight and evaluation of laboratory contractor compliance
Planning and documenting contractor meetings
Tracking follow-up actions
Coordinating with regional case coordinators

Ability to work under the direction of Health Program Manager I
California residency prior to appointment
