The role focuses on day-to-day accounting operations, primarily accounts payable, reconciliations, and general ledger support across multiple entities.

Responsibilities
Own the accounts payable process across multiple entities, ensuring invoices are reviewed, coded, approved, and paid accurately and on time in accordance with internal procedures
Reconcile credit card activity across multiple entities, ensuring proper documentation, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues independently or escalating when appropriate
Perform daily and month-end accounting activities, including daily cash reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet account reconciliations
Support month-end close by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation required for accurate financial reporting
Respond to internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting inquiries
Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for management and other stakeholders
Create and issue customer invoices and monitor collections to ensure timely receipt of payments
Prepare and issue annual 1099s for vendors across multiple entities
Assist with tax filings, compliance-related reporting, and other administrative filings as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
4+ years experience in accounting with an emphasis on accounts payable
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of detailed work accurately and efficiently
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve without constant direction
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite
Preferred
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and NetSuite strongly preferred
