New Grad, Entry LevelBass Pro Shops is seeking a Boat Cover Sewer to create boat and seat covers using industrial sewing machines for fiberglass and aluminum boat production. The role involves sewing covers for production and aftermarket parts, as well as preparing and inspecting materials.

Prepares and inspects materials
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to sew efficiently
Ability to use hand tools
Ability to work in team setting or independently
Ability to understand processes and instructions
Ability to read tape measurements
Ability to read and follow standard operations processes
Ability to cross train
Ability to wear all required PPE
Sitting at workstation
Bending to put finished work together
Twisting while pulling parts into workstation
Pinching work with fingers during sewing
Lifting up to maximum of 25lbs occasionally
Cutting occasionally
Pressing power pedal with foot
Basic machine and work area maintenance/housekeeping
Perform tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation
Choose from limited alternatives to resolve problems
Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments
Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices
