Responsibilities

Own the vision, strategy, and execution of Chainguard’s global GTM systems and business applications, ensuring they scale with rapid growth and support Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations
Serve as the executive owner of the GTM tech stack, with Salesforce at the core, driving continuous optimization across lead-to-cash, quote-to-revenue, and customer lifecycle workflows
Define and maintain a multi-year GTM systems roadmap, balancing near-term business priorities with long-term scalability, data integrity, and architectural excellence
Lead the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of modern and AI-enabled GTM technologies, improving seller productivity, pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and customer engagement
Partner deeply with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Security, and Product leaders to translate business strategy into scalable system design and process automation
Support data governance, reporting, and analytics across GTM systems, ensuring trusted metrics, high-quality data, and actionable insights for executive decision-making
Oversee complex system integrations across CRM, marketing automation, sales engagement, customer success, billing, and data platforms, making thoughtful build/buy/partner decisions
Establish best practices for release management, system reliability, change management, and compliance, aligned with Chainguard’s security and operational standards
Act as a hands-on leader, with responsibility to build, mentor, and scale a high-performing GTM Systems / Business Applications team over time
Operate as a strategic thought partner and escalation point, bringing a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability to mission-critical initiatives

Required

12+ years of experience building, scaling, and leading GTM systems or business applications in high-growth B2B SaaS or cloud-native environments
Deep, hands-on expertise with Salesforce architecture and implementation
Strong working knowledge of Marketing Automation, Sales Engagement, Revenue Intelligence, Customer Success, and BI platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, Zendesk/Vitally, Sigma, or similar)
Proven ability to design end-to-end GTM architectures, including data flows, integrations, analytics, and automation across the customer lifecycle
Experience acting as a product owner for internal platforms, balancing stakeholder needs, technical feasibility, and business outcomes
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, transformational initiatives that improve alignment between business strategy, systems, and processes
A strong passion for automation, AI, and emerging technologies, with practical experience introducing innovation while maintaining system stability and trust
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence executives, partner across teams, and develop high-performing technical organizations
Strong analytical skills, including experience with pipeline metrics, forecasting, data modeling, and executive-level reporting
Comfort operating in ambiguity with a high bias for action, sound judgment, and ownership mentality

Preferred

Experience in security-conscious, compliance-driven environments is a plus
