Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive equipment and system level maintenance on Navy Combat Weapons Systems: Vertical Launching System (VLS), Harpoon Weapons System (HWS), Tomahawk Weapons System (TTWCS)
Provide system/equipment configuration and operational support for all deployed baseline AEGIS and SSDS variants
Schedule planned maintenance actions utilizing the SKED program in accordance with the Navy’s Maintenance Material Management (3M) system
Document all maintenance actions, including repair part requisitions, using the OMNS-NG program
Qualification
Required
High School/GED and more than three years demonstrated experience assessing, troubleshooting, and performing corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance on systems and equipment
PQS 301 qualification is required
Willing and able to obtain PQS 301 qualification within 3 months of employment
Willing and able to perform in a variety of 40 hour work-week configurations
Able to obtain a Secret level clearance
Must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance
Preferred
Active DoD clearance
Certified ETA Fiber Optic Installer
Experience trouble shooting and repairing Low Level Serial and Parallel interface cables
Experience with Network devices and an understanding of Operating Systems, preferably RedHat or UNIX
