District Sales Manager

The District Sales Manager will lead a team, driving sales performance and continuous process improvements while ensuring team members are well-trained and compliant with established processes.
Responsibilities
Recruiting, developing, and retaining high performing sales representatives and sales supervisors
Ensuring that team members have the required product, sales, and business system training necessary to perform their job responsibilities and to be compliant with established processes
Implementing and evolving team responsibilities in line with corporate guidelines and definitions
Developing coaching, and leading direct reports to sustainably achieve and exceed the minimum level of performance expectations
Managing activities to support sales and marketing initiatives, including qualification, and nurturing of sales leads and opportunities obtained from various lead sources when applicable
Measuring team development and sales progress on a regular basis utilizing CRM and business intelligence to make sure that we are tracking towards set targets
Identifying and address gaps and obstacles that are preventing target and KPI achievement, implementing any necessary corrective measures to deliver the expected results
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years sales management is required in the Life Sciences
Proven ability to direct others in a multitask environment
High energy level with a strong customer focus
Ability to utilize a data base system to record and extract information
Valid driver license and clear driving record required
Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%
a related degree and a minimum of five years related experience and/or training in Life Sciences
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a biological science is preferred
Experience with multi-million dollar negotiation a plus
Contract negotiations would be a plus
