Responsibilities
You will manage projects from both internal and external clients, balance workloads, and adhere to client expectations, budgets, and schedules
You will lead and assist with field activities, regulatory compliance and reporting, contamination assessments, characterization studies, sampling plans, and remediation plans
Additionally, you will independently interface with both internal and external clients and regulatory staff to accomplish project directives
Qualification
Required
B.S., B.A., M.S., in a field of Science such as Environmental Science, Environmental Engineer, or Geologist, or other related science and engineering fields
Typical incumbent has at least 15 years' of practical environmental experience
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, technical writing, computer and communication skills required
Strong understanding of the environmental regulatory framework
Project management experience for environmental projects such as execution and preparation of scope of work, budgets, and schedules
Desire and ability to support and lead business development efforts, develop and maintain client relationships, as well as lead and deliver work
Participation in projects with many stakeholders
Position requires driving a company vehicle; incumbent must have valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company policy
Travel will be required, but infrequent (~10%)
Hybrid work environment typically requires two to three days in office
Preferred
Professional certifications (e.g., PG, PE) considered a plus, but not required
Tailings, water, and environment (TWE) experience is preferred but not required
