5+ years expProcom is seeking a mid-level UX Designer for a Financial Services client, focusing on creating digital and email design patterns and components. This role involves contributing to Charles Schwab’s Digital Design System and creating intuitive website experiences.

Responsibilities
Design dynamic, interactive digital experiences and web applications, including mobile/small screen requirements
Build new DDS components and enhancements in Figma
Create detailed documentation for development and user guidance
Work independently and incorporate feedback from other UXDs and developers
Liaise with front-end developers to bring designs to life
Partner with UX Researchers on testing designs/components with end users
Advocate for the DDS within Schwab and with external agencies
Qualification
Required
Five+ years of relevant experience as a UX Designer or related role
Familiarity with DDS and atomic-based design
Proficiency in Figma for creating components and documentation
In-depth knowledge of design principles, including layout, type, color, and composition
Experience with Jira and agile processes
Understanding of current WCAG accessibility standards
Self-starter with the ability to lead discovery work on new design patterns
Preferred
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
Detail-oriented with strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to intake feedback and quickly pivot
Experience using data and UX research to inform design decisions
Comfortable working on a distributed team
