Primary teaching responsibilities include teaching a broad range of Sociology courses
Advise and mentor undergraduate Sociology majors
Engage in scholarly research activities which include writing grants
Serve on departmental and university committees and engage in other forms of service to the university and academic community
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Sociology, or a related discipline
Candidates with ABDs considered but must have a conferred Ph.D. by August 1, 2026
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire
