Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and policies to ensure regulatory compliance
Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and recommend corrective actions
Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation for audits
Coordinate emergency response planning and staff safety training
Collaborate with teams to integrate safety measures and promote a safety-first culture
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, with 10+ years of demonstrated safety management experience, preferably in oil and gas
In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and H2S/PHMSA protocols, with experience implementing them in operational settings
Relevant safety certifications such as CSP, ASP, or OSHA 30/500, with proven technical expertise in risk assessment, audits, and emergency response planning
Ability to travel up to 25% to field locations, including extended drives, and perform occasional physical tasks such as inspections and data collection
